Ingredients (240 ml cup used)
- 500 grams of salmon
- ½ tbsp. vinegar
- 3 tbsp. Any hot red chili sauce
- 2 tbsp Chinese cooking wine (optional)
- 1 tbsp. chili garlic sauce
- 2 tbsp. Light soya sauce
- Salt very little
- Vegetables or leeks slit length wise
- ¼ cup of onions (crush them coarsely)
- 2 tbsp. thinly sliced garlic
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- ¼ tsp pepper powder
- 1 tsp rice flour or semolina (optional, use if you want to have a crusty fish)
How to make the recipe
- Wash and make several cuts over the fillet diagonally.
- Mix all the sauces, wine, and salt and onion paste. Marinate the fish .Set aside for at least for 2 hrs or overnight is better.
- Preheat the oven at 160 C and bake fish for 40 mins. After 20 mins add the vegetables or leeks and sprinkle the garlic, pepper powder and sesame seeds. Drizzle the rice flour.
- Continue to bake till the top turns crusty.
